Summary of Professional Qualification
Mr. Alan E. Irish works with attorneys, CPAs, investors, entrepreneurs, and property owners to solve complex valuation problems for estate, sales, and litigation purposes. His professional practices are dedicated to appraisal and assessment appeals valuation services.
He maintains two certifications: Certified Public Accountant and Certified General Appraiser. The appraisal certifications were issued by the California State Office of Real Estate Appraisers and the Nevada State Department of Business and Industry. He has been approved to appraise realty in Arizona. The Certified Public Accountant certification is from the California State Board of Accountancy.
Mr. Irish has appeared in Superior Courts as an expert witness and has given testimony in five Southern California counties (Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino, Riverside, and San Diego). He has appeared represented, and given testimony for ad-valorem tax appeal purposes in the same counties. He was a member of the Orange County Assessment Appeals Board for ten years as a final determiner of value in hundreds of commercial realty cases.
He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the University of California Polytechnic - Pomona, CA. and has continuing education in real estate valuation, taxation, and business valuation. Mr. Irish is a member of the Appraisal Institute, the American Institute of Business Appraisers and Real Estate Investment Advisors of California.
